I blame you and all players like you for the dumbing down of video games to the sheer stupid levels that exist today. Its why PVP in almost every game has turned to crap because the moment 90% of the people realize they are **** and have no coordination of understanding of games they cry like inept children to the devs to make it easier so they can feel the joy of having succeed but its an empty shallow victory when someone hands it to you. Used to be you had to work at games, they took time to get better at and master. That was a source of enjoyment in itself, now causal carebear scrubs like you insist that gaming cater to you because you're voice matters equal to mine (it doesn't; scrubs ought to be treated like 2nd class citizens and jesters for the amusement of the leet). Nothing wrong with a little assistance but this playerbase has always been trash personified in terms of gaming skill, i mean what can we expect from a base whose claim to PVP is tracking computers and autopiliot tab targeting disguised as a skillful PVP encounter, (yea EVE PVPers are trash rejects who cant hack it in real PVP games). So i understand why you feel the game owes you a level playing field in terms of mechanics, the irony of this isnt lost on me about the HTFU crowd asking for all sorts of gimmicks and tricks for them to be able to compete. Gaming industry and CCP has ruined you into believing you had a talent for gaming when really you were just a monkey they need to stare at a screen and occupy a space in a virtual setting.

Ged gud scrubs dust wont be around long enough to get you better prepared for more skilled games.
Then again just another step in the direction of all CCP PVE games. Laughably ez mode, no thinking involved and let the computer do all the work. Man those EVE PVE PROs (lol) must be dying to try out the new turned based mode coming soon. But if its unnoticeable to noobs then mabey it's because good players can aim anyway But it's bad on the people who try to play any role witch requires to get anywhere near the scrubs who claim that they are good now. Hell, it's now ******* impossible to get kills with this aimbot on with my Scout suits.....
Funny, cause I've been going 12-1 on average with nothing but a militia scout suit between hacks. Aim assist on or off made no difference to my kdr, shots just seem to register more with it on though. After playing other fps games you can usually feel when a shot ought to be hitting and aim assist seems to have fixed that server imbalance that would cause a lead or lag of the hitbox over the character.
The "pro" players are just hipsters that did better at a broken system than people coming in from any other fps (anyone coming in from outside of dust will tell you the aiming has been messed up) and now they are upset because they will have to change their gungame. And before you try to call me an AR scrub don't even bother, I play almost every role on the field, including assault sniping ( right in the battlefield, no redlining so dont even bother trying that line) and as a sniper my gameplay has to change EVERY minor update. So to all these "purist" hipsters: you are "pro" at a faulty system, get used to it, stop whining and HTFU please, it's getting old. |

Epitome of a ******* hipster ^^^ Sorry that moniker belongs to EVEtards they are very much the hipsters of gaming. But i do enjoy reading the responses of all of dust trashiest players coming to tell me that the aim assist is fine as is.
Oh the irony, I have been playing since closed beta and I have never even HEARD of you, let alone seen your name in any significant position on a leader board. Aim assist IS fine as is, it is finally getting rid of server lag on hitboxes, if anything the hitboxes just need to be reduced back to their original size. |

So to all these "purist" hipsters: you are "pro" at a faulty system, get used to it, stop whining and HTFU please, it's getting old. what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no likes, and may God have mercy on your soul...
If you cannot comprehend a word of what I said then you, sir, are the idiot. Rambling? No, I was simply eliminating pointless and endless arguments before they were brought up by people like, huh... well, YOU. If you are going to diss me at least have the balls and intelligence to prove anything I said wrong.
What I typed here has been echoed throughout the forums dozens of times since I posted it, clearly your response is a sad form of defensive diversion since my posts are derailing or at least intelligently contradicting a large part of your "argument". Best of all, I am not even saying that aim assist should remain as it is, what I have been saying is that the fps mechanics for dust have, until now at least, been largely ****** up and aim assist (at least in my experience, CCP has since stated that results are sporadic) has at least done something to help fix some of the aiming glitches plaguing this game.
Funnily enough, some of the very same people complaining now are the ones that were endlessly QQ'ing about the broken aiming and unexplainable errant or nonexistent shot registers before.
One of the reasons so many new players are turned off of this game is because of those poor mechanics involving hitboxes randomly trailing or leading an opponent based on their server speed. This is something that many of us ended up "getting used to" making us better than other players, however, it has always been stated that those mechanics were not working as intended.
Basically, in the end, the people who say they are "pro" at this game are really just players who have better adapted to a faulty and temporary battle style and the people who are left whining are he hipsters that are afraid of change and think its cool to boast about how cool they are for being old school.
I honestly cannot think of any way to further explain this to you, if you still claim you don't get it you are either beyond the hope of your local education system or a 10 year old with proficient writing skills.
